Greetings!
Here is another simple project to keep your hands busy at home. I would recommend this for all adults and children ages 8 and up.
A while back I found myself shopping for new hangers for my closet. I purposely searched for non slip hangers. Most of my “older” hangers are wire and plastic and my clothes tend to slip off the sides. It felt wasteful to throw out my old hangers and so I decided to try and make them more functional.
With a few simple supplies this project can give you functional hangers and a fun and colorful closet. All you need is a hanger, glue, scissors, and a small ball of yarn.
If you have any leftover yarn from past projects this is a great time to use it up. I have found that thicker yarn works best.
Here are a few examples that I have made.
Wrap all the way around until you reach the base of the hook.
Choose which side of the hanger you are going to start with and wrap through the middle a few times to start. I have attached a video to help you with the slip knot that you will use to continue with the project.
Hope you enjoy the project!
