GRADES TOUR & TALK

After the tour, sit down with a faculty member for a short question and answer period. Adults only please to minimize the interruption for the students. Tour & Talks are by appointment only, please call the office at (508) 420-1005 or email us to schedule a tour.
garden's gate open classroom days
The Garden's Gate is our Parent and Child Program offering classes for infants to children age 5. There are three sessions each year in the fall, winter and spring. Each class meets once a week.
The first two classes of each session are open classroom days for new families interested in learning more about Waldorf education. Parent-Child and Early Childhood families are welcome. It is a great way to experience the Waldorf difference! Call or e-mail to register for an age-appropriate class 508-420-1005. Dates found on the Parent-Child Registration Form.
EARLY CHILDHOOD tea & play
Have tea with an early childhood teacher in the nursery or kindergarten classroom while your child plays and explores the simple toys, natural materials and objects to encourage open-ended and imaginative play.
This is one of the best ways to get to know our program in a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Intended for adults and children. Please call 508-420-1005 or email us to schedule a Tea & Play. Additional days may be added so please check our Facebook page.
OPEN HOUSES
Come find out why Waldorf works! We focus on building each child's intellectual, creative, physical & personal skills while nurturing his or her individual spirit.
Join us and tour our school, meet our faculty, learn about our admission process & participate in curriculum-based demonstrations and activities. Families welcome.
MEET THE ALUMNI PANEL
Join us in welcoming back our Alumni who have offered to share their experiences and reflections on Waldorf elementary education. They lend their voices to the ongoing conversation about education and school choice.
Hear first hand how a foundation in Waldorf influenced and informed these young adults' life choices. Bring your curiosity and questions. Don't miss one of the most informative and inspiring events of the year! No children, please.
ARTS NIGHT
Arts Night is for the middle school students to shine and showcase their artistic and musical talent. Original student works of art including watercolor paintings, handwork and sculpture will be on display. Short orchestral and choral pieces will be performed by our middle school students. Experience our unique curriculum from our student's perspective and see how art is used to bring our curriculum alive. Classrooms will be open and faculty and staff will be here to welcome you. Families and children welcome.
SPRING DAY
Celebrate the promise of spring by creating festive crafts with your children and sharing a picnic lunch. Plant seeds, make paper butterflies, color eggs, see some barnyard animals such as chicks, piglets and bunnies. A special seasonal lunch will be catered by our resident chef, Creighton Peet and available for purchase after 12pm. Treat yourself or bring your own. Classrooms will also be open and faculty will be available to answer questions.
May Day
Traditionally, May Day celebrates the beginning of summer, sacred to Persephone in Greek legend. King Winter generally arrives at our May Day Celebration to make one last bid to try to overstay his welcome, but Lady Spring, in all her graciousness, will not allow it. What a joyous sound the children make as King Winter is sent on his way! We welcome everyone to come and join us. After the younger students have a dance around the pole, our Fourth graders will do their final weaving and community families and friends will be offered a chance to kick up their heels. So don your spring colors, hats, ribbon and wreaths and join us for a celebration of spring!
